A roof over families when life gets hard.

KROV provides early support to families with children in Užice and Western Serbia. We help parents avoid facing crisis alone by offering guidance, practical help and connection with people who can help.

See how we help

For donors, partners and people who believe a family should never break in silence.

Why KROV exists

Families do not break all at once.

Crisis often starts with small signals: exhaustion, fear, debt, isolation, illness, job loss or the feeling that there is no one to turn to. When families do not receive early support, problems grow. KROV exists to make help appear earlier.

01

Before a parent stands alone

A first conversation, a clear understanding of the situation and concrete next steps.

02

Before a child carries the weight

Supporting the family means a more stable environment for the child.

03

Before the problem grows

Connecting with people, experts and partners who can actually help.

Focus

One mission. One focus. Families in crisis.

KROV focuses on families with children going through a difficult period without enough support around them. We do not try to do everything. We build a local early-support system that is clear, responsible and possible to grow over time.

Who we help

  • ·Families with children going through a crisis
  • ·Single parents without a stable support network
  • ·Pregnant women and young mothers who need a foothold
  • ·Families under economic, emotional or social pressure
  • ·Parents who need direction, conversation and connection

What we do not do

  • ×We do not promise instant solutions
  • ×We do not replace institutions
  • ×We do not try to do everything
  • ×We do not expand without programs we can follow through
  • ×We do not use donations without a clear purpose
How it works

How KROV helps

A simple early-support model that can be explained in 30 seconds.

  1. 01

    We hear the signal

A family, partner, school, neighbor, expert or community member recognises that support is needed.

  2. 02

    We understand the situation

The first contact exists to listen — without judgment, without a complicated procedure.

  3. 03

    We give a first direction

The family gets a clearer view of the next steps and the options available.

  4. 04

    We connect with support

KROV connects the family with people, partners, experts or resources that can actually help.

  5. 05

    We stay present

Support does not end with one conversation. The goal is that the family is not left alone afterward.

Flagship program

KROV 72

The first 72 hours of support for a family entering crisis.

KROV 72 is an early-support program for families with children. The goal is that, in the first days of crisis, the family receives a conversation, guidance, connection and a realistic first plan.

0–24h
First contact

First contact and understanding of the situation.

24–48h
Connection

Direction and connection with possible support.

48–72h
Plan

A first plan and agreement on next steps.

A donation does not buy an activity. A donation buys time, attention, coordination and the first stable step for a family that does not know where to begin.

Impact

What your support makes possible

KROV does not ask for support for abstract costs. KROV asks for support for a concrete early-help system for families.

01

One conversation can break the silence

Support the first contact with a family that does not know where to turn.

02

One package can lift the pressure off a parent

Support basic practical help through local partners.

03

One expert can change direction

Support involving the right professional when a family needs guidance.

04

One network can last for years

Support the building of a local family-support system.

Choose how you support

These amounts are example support packages and can be adjusted to real program costs.

Trust

Trust has to be visible.

KROV builds support on simple rules: clear focus, known use of funds, regular communication with partners and honest reporting on what was done.

01

Clear goal

Every program has a purpose, an audience and an expected result.

02

Known use of funds

Donors know what they are supporting.

03

Local impact

Support stays close to the families who need it.

04

Regular communication

Partners get a short and understandable overview of activities.

Partnerships

Partnerships that make sense

KROV is looking for partners who want concrete, local, human impact.

Let’s talk about partnership

Companies

Support KROV 72 as a socially responsible program for families in your local community.

Foundations and donors

Fund a clear support model that can be tracked, measured and developed.

Experts

Bring your knowledge through advisory, educational or mentoring support.

Local partners

Help support reach families before the problem grows.

Voices of the community

Situations where KROV needs to exist

01

A mother who has no one to tell that she cannot anymore

The moment where a single conversation is the difference between isolation and a first step forward.

02

A parent who has lost their job

Trying to protect a child from panic — KROV helps so the pressure does not fall on one person alone.

03

A family that has a problem but does not know who to turn to first

Often, all that is missing is one clear contact and a first conversation without judgment.

04

A child who feels that something is breaking

The stability of the family is the biggest frame of safety a child can have.

These are not campaigns. These are moments where the community has to respond earlier.
