Early support, a clear process, a human approach.
The KROV early-support model is simple, human-scale and focused. The goal is for families to receive support earlier, before the problem grows.
The problem we address
Families often stand alone in the first days of crisis. There is no first conversation, no direction, no feeling that someone is listening.
The KROV model
Five simple steps: we hear the signal, we understand the situation, we give a first direction, we connect with support, we stay present.
How KROV helps
A simple early-support model that can be explained in 30 seconds.
- 01
We hear the signal
A family, partner, school, neighbor, expert or community member recognises that support is needed.
- 02
We understand the situation
The first contact exists to listen — without judgment, without a complicated procedure.
- 03
We give a first direction
The family gets a clearer view of the next steps and the options available.
- 04
We connect with support
KROV connects the family with people, partners, experts or resources that can actually help.
- 05
We stay present
Support does not end with one conversation. The goal is that the family is not left alone afterward.
What support can include
- A first conversation and assessment of needs
- Connection with a professional
- Practical help through the partner network
- Help for the parent to understand the next step
- Follow-up after the first contact
What we do not promise
We do not pretend we can do everything. We do not replace institutions. We do not give fast solutions that sound good and change nothing.
KROV 72
The first 72 hours of support for a family entering crisis.
KROV 72 is an early-support program for families with children. The goal is that, in the first days of crisis, the family receives a conversation, guidance, connection and a realistic first plan.
First contact and understanding of the situation.
Direction and connection with possible support.
A first plan and agreement on next steps.
A donation does not buy an activity. A donation buys time, attention, coordination and the first stable step for a family that does not know where to begin.
How we measure our work
We keep records of the number of families supported, the program phases they went through and concrete next steps. No sensationalism. Focused on reality.
Conversation before procedure.
First window of support.
People and partners in the community.
You understand the model. Help it become reality.
The biggest difference between early and late support is time. If you want to help this model reach families, the easiest way is to talk.
